Montserrat was designed by Argentinian designer Julieta Ulanovsky in 2014. The typeface was inspired by the signage found in a historical neighborhood in Buenos Ares, Argentina. Ulanovsky was inspired by the beauty of urban typography of the early twentieth century.
For this type specimen book, my goal was to showcase Montserrat alongside bold colors and design elements similar to those found in Buenos Ares as intended by Ulanovsky.
